Woodwind Instrument Music Lessons

Woodwind and brass instruments get their names from how they work and how they’re made. To make a sound on a woodwind instrument, air (or wind) gets blown into it. This air travels through a narrow pipe that, while today is mostly made from plastic and metal, was once made out of wood. So, wood + wind = woodwind. It’s as simple as that!

And learning classic woodwind instruments like the clarinet or the flute is easy in the right (fun) setting and with friendly, professional music teachers. That's where we come in! Brass Instrument Lessons

Brass instruments are even less complicated. These instruments are made out of, wait for it… brass! 

If you’re picking up an instrument for the first time, woodwind or brass instruments are a great choice. They have so many benefits! Both instruments produce sounds by blowing air into a mouthpiece. This means that playing these instruments will help you improve your lung capacity, breath control and even strengthen your core abdominal muscles. Furthermore, different notes are produced by pressing down on the instrument’s keys in various combinations. This aspect of playing will really help engage your memory, your motor skills and improve your hand-eye coordination.
