Learn to play the piano
The piano is one of the most common and popular instruments in the world. Mastering the piano will allow you to show off your musical skills almost anywhere; whether that’s at school, at a friend’s house or even on the street. Once you've learned the piano, you won't have to worry about carrying your instrument around or forgetting it on public transport like every other musician.
Students are able to play just for fun or students are able to pursue exams with the Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB), with our experienced teachers. All levels and abilities are catered for. Lessons are individually prepared to allow for your student to thrive!
Piano lessons for any style of music
There’s no limit to the styles of music you can play on the piano. You can play Classical, Jazz, Pop, Rock and so much more. If you’re interested in accompanying yourself while singing or composing songs, learning the piano can be useful for that as well.
The piano is capable of playing both melody and harmony which is great for people who love to play solo. You don’t need to schedule practice time with other people or pay for an accompanist. However, there are also a lot of ensemble opportunities for pianists as well, including symphony orchestras, piano ensembles, bands and much more.
Express your creativity in our Sutherland Shire piano lessons
If you like a team environment and working with other people, the piano will also allow you to do that.
Learning the piano allows you to express your creativity. It is by far the best instrument for becoming a well-rounded musician as you have two different clefs to read while the majority of instruments have one.
Learning the piano will require a lot of coordination to play different melodies, rhythms and dynamics on each hand. You'll also come to understand scale and chord theory, which will make it easier for you to pick up other instruments later.
